Kamen Rider Agito Episode 1
So it seems like this is a loose sequel to Kuuga.
Kinda hoped to see some familiar faces here.
Gosh the Kuuga void is starting ;_____;
A pretty good first episode imo.
The detective here is pretty dumb to be as persistent to get some answers from a woman who just had her husband and son murdered. And one would think to have her in protective custody!
The CG here's a slight improvement from Kuuga tho I like that they're using it sparingly. Also actual explosions this time! Yay for that!
MC's pretty likable too!
Kamen Rider Agito Episode 2 - Episode 4
I like how Agito's first on screen henshin was similar to Kuuga.
Also kinda disappointed that Agito straight out said Henshin. In Kuuga, the reason why Godai said henshin in the first place kinda sorta made sense.
Ahhhh I really need to stop expecting Agito to be just like Kuuga! But it's kinda hard since this series also makes references to Kuuga!!
I feel like the dumbest aspect of this show so far is the unknown task force/Police. The shit they say and do annoys me. Like the part where detective finds a coin in the bottle in the victim's house and just took it 'cause he thought it was weird that the coin that size ended up in a bottle with a small hole. I mean, didn't it occur to him that it could've just been a novelty item? They also later pointed it out to the audience about the hole size being too small for the coin as though we didn't get it after the demonstration earlier! Even in episode one where they kept flashing this strange photo of a kid with a hand on his shoulder where no one but him was in the photo. One look and you'd notice it but it took the police a while to notice the hand! WHAT?! AND IT TOOK THEM 4 EPISODES TO SET UP BODYGUARDS FOR VICTIM'S FAMILY?!?! /End of rant
I like how they decided to make Agito's henshin simple tho! Kuuga must've caused the production team a lot of stress with theirs! xD
And I'm really REALLY liking the OP!
Kamen Rider Agito Episode 9
This series is just getting better and better!
Agito's just such a lovable goof! And a bad ass too! Such a shame we don't get such characters these days!
One thing I forgot to praise from the start was the monster design. They are definitely a step up from Kuuga's. Not saying they we're bad 'cause overall, their themes are quite different. What I'm saying is that the monsters here are much more polished and detailed than it is in Kuuga. I also like that they blink! (well, sometimes in close ups..).
Kamen Rider Agito Episode 11
Did I mention Kamen Rider Gills' henshin is pretty badass? It's nothing extravagant where there isn't really any visual effects going on. It's so simple yet pretty cool!
Looks like we're finally going to get some answers in relation to Agito and the monsters! Asshole detective is an asshole and I'm so glad Hikawa punched him.
HOWLY CRAP! THIS IS THE FIRST FORM IN EX-AID I GENUINELY LIKE!
Count me in! I just hope this doesn't take place on earth! BRING ON THE FUCKEN HYPE!!!!
Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Episode 10
After what felt like the weakest episode of Ex-Aid, I was not expecting episode 10 to be one of my favourites!
I'm so fucking happy to see some progression with Ex-AId's character! The doctor really brought in some maturity to him with his lecture. I just hope he doesn't revert back in a couple of episodes! I'm also happy too see that the fugly suit was intended to be use by multiple players 'cause it looks WAAAAAAYYYY better that way! I also like that they incorporated the party concept (kinda) here! Them working as a team made for some nice fight sequences tho even more entertaining to see each of them trying to outshine everyone!
Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Episode 11
A solid episode tbh! Gemn finally reveals himself to everyone! Tho a tad bit underwhelming..But its nice to see the story moving forward.
Must every child patient be a fucking brat? I get that you've gone through some shit but that doesn't mean you should be a fucking ass to everyone. Whenever I see a child patient in Ex-Aid, I can't help but roll my eyes. The adult patients are so much better than those pieces of shit!
And lookie what we have here! Major spoilers in previews?! Drive would be so proud!
Power Rangers Dino Super Charge
FINALLY. It felt like it took me forever to finish this series! It was bad imho, neither was it THAT good. Or as good as Dino Charge promised to be! Dino Super Charge really dipped in quality with many episodes dedicated to filler, tho very entertaining, caused the series to loose precious time with it's main story. The final episodes could've been AMAZING but instead got extremely rushed with the writers frantically trying to tie up loose ends by still introducing new plot points.
AND THE AMOUNT OF PLOT HOLES THO. Even for Power Rangers, this is ridiculous! Having the finale take place in the past was pretty unique, and could've been better if it was planned and paced properly. And because they prevented the dinosaurs from going extinct, dinosaurs now exist in present time?! Even my little sister was surprised that they Dinosaurs looked the same! Now I just wonder if Ninja Steel's going have wild dinosaurs roaming about!
Overall, Dino Super Charge was pretty disappointing. Despite its amazing cast, a number of good filler episodes and interesting build up, it ultimately disappoint with bad pacing, huge plot holes and sub par writing (compared to Dino Charge) that are mostly apparent in the final episodes. That being said, it's still nowhere as bad as Samurai or Megaforce so I'm still optimistic for Ninja Steel!
Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Episode 12
What a mix bag this episode was. While a part of it was actually pretty good, the first half annoyed me quite a bit.
The annoying comedy style is used to full effect in this episode with A LOT of rapid cuts and annoying sound effects.
The child patient was still annoying and his resolve was unimpactful. The tone in this episode was kind of all over the place. While comedy dominated the majority of episode, I did not like how It cut back and forth with it's serious and comedic scenes. It really affected the build up. When the episode started with just a title slate with no opening sequence, you could tell that some serious shit was going to happen in this episode. But nope, comedy and half assed resolution happened. The later half was definitely much better in comparison. Mostly 'cause there wasn't any comedy and
level 10 Gemn happened. Which I have to admit, he looks FUCKING BADASS (He's the guy in the image above). He has his own belt design which looks pretty simple yet sweet. And he also killed Lazer! WHAT?! Kind of impressed 'cause I did not see that coming. But a real waste though, especially with such a shitty build up! I also feel that Asuna revealing that she's a bugster could've happened in episode 1 rather than doing it now 'cause it's just a waste of everyone's time at this point.
Also, I feel that there's a plot hole in this episode. The patient started feeling stressed when his mother was being attacked. But the thing is that the child was at the hospital and did not know about the attack. So why did he start freaking out with the virus?
Overall, the first half sucked. While I don't mind some lightheartedness, it just did not fit in well with the tone the later half and even the first couple of minutes had. The resolution with the child patient felt very typical and his overall story was uninteresting.
The second half was significantly better 'cause more interesting things happened and its awful comedy style did not get in the way.
