Again, just to be clear, I'm not asking you to support them. I already have alternatives where the site works fine. I'm just amused that which one worked and which one didn't switched.
I turned off the auto-update feature on Firefox because I have a bunch of add-ons and I got sick of them being broken by the updates. At some point I'll sit down, write down all my add-ons, decide which ones I care about, then do the update, then see which ones have become unusable, and then search for alternatives, and such. It's a time-intensive process though.
I tried to get my Waterfox to auto-update but it actually just fucks itself up and fails to open correctly after an update. So in that case I wanted it but it didn't work. I've been thinking of updating it manually by doing an uninstall and reinstall but I just haven't gotten around to it. Again, time-intensive process.
My Chrome installations are actually standalone installations, on purpose. They shouldn't be able to update themselves.
