Attack On Titan Season 2 To Deviate From Hajime Isayama’s Manga?
The follow-up season is slated for release in early 2017, but fans are already starting to speculate what could be its focus arc.
Rumor has it that Attack on Titan Season 2 will go on a different direction, meaning it will not follow the manga. It is a known fact that most animes will not air until more story arc are added in the manga.
Hajime Isayama has three new story arcs available. Contrary to the rumors, these arcs are enough to cover one season. Some believe two is enough to cover Season 2.
One is “Clash of the Titans” arc and the other is the “Uprising” arc. “Clash of the Titans” serves as the fifth story in the manga. There is a huge chance it will be covered since the promotional poster shows Colossus Titan trying to break the wall as Eren, Armin and Mikasa prepares to fight another titan.
It has 15 chapters in all while the other one, the “Uprising” arc alone has 36 chapters. “Uprising,” the sixth story in the manga, focuses on the murder of Minister Nick and Jean and Armin’s attempt to kidnap Eren and Historia.
The Christian Times notes that Season 1 only covered 36 chapters in all. The anime kicked off in 2013 and wrapped up in summer 2014.
Otherwise, the new season could just pick up where Season 1 left off. In the first season, Annie Leonhart was covered in crystal. Eren and Mikasa both found out that it was the female titan Annie.
I don't believe in this.
