I just feel that the statements could be taken that why and possibly you might over estimate the influence of Muslim extremism. That's what I got from it.
How is it not? The only difference is that Islamic extremism tend to be more armed. But so are many other non-Islamic radical group throughout the world. I still think it is all connected, because at the base is a dangerous ideology. All of these groups mention has that in common, and more to the point of the rise of white supremacy in America over the pass few years and increased numbers over the past 18 months.
Why does it make religion an issue? Out of the billion or so Muslims, about 20% live in the Middle East, the vast majority of them are not religious extremists. In fact it is effecting Muslims far more than any other group of people.
Moreover, Hitler? His movement was extremely dangerous and had nothing to do with religion, but parallels in ideology and spreading of that ideology can be found...so how is it a fault or religion and not bad people?
