Anitro 1.2 has been released on the Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows 8.1 marketplace.
The update itself is mainly laying down the foundation before I can tackle a big agenda item which is allowing you to view other users profiles. That said I did manage to get a bunch of long time coming items out of the way. With 1.2 I added in Relative Time to the application instead of just dumping the full timestamp, I have also fixed the Social Feed which broke a couple weeks ago. There was even a rare bug which crashed the app when the user tried to edit library information of shows which had a certain trait in their data. On top of that I tried to increase the speed of the application and increased the amount of feedback which is sent back to the user for what the app is currently doing.
For the Windows Phone 8.1 version of the app, I also added in Cortana Search within the app itself in addition to a Search Filter to prepare for the coming manga and user profile support I'm working on adding in.
So basically, a bunch of little stuff, but like I said the main focus was getting the backend ready for the big jump of supporting a bunch of major features coming in the future. Moving it away from static to being more modular and just preserving my sanity when working on it.
